Feb 14, 2018Regression to the mean is an important concept to understand when you are working with world-class performers.
Sometimes you have an unbelievable performance, you feel on top of the world and your ego tries to convince you that you can perform at this level time and time again.
The next game you go out with a chip on your shoulder and end up “crapping the bed” and having one of your worst performances and feel the need to go back to the drawing board and rebuild your game!

What you need to do is look at your average performances and work on improving the average performance until it resembles what is currently your outlier best performance.
